There are many hiking trails in the vicinity of your sheepfold. There's the Piscia di Gallu waterfall hike, which takes 1h30 round trip. Another well-known hike is La Punta di a Vacca Morta "la Pointe de la Vache Morte", a 1,314-meter ascent that offers magnificent panoramic views over the Porto Vecchio and Valincu gulfs. Allow 2h30 round trip.
You can also leave from the village of Pianottoli-Caldarello and follow the Bruzzi trail: a coastal path that allows you to contemplate creeks and small beaches. At the end of the hike, the trail leads to a small, very pleasant beach: a short swim is a must!
